I'm in Miami, and I do ok even in the summertime, but I guess I'm just not a heavy sweater in general. Also, I suppose that I don't run very far (about 3mi twice a week; 20min roughly). I have meniscus problems from too many HS and college sports, so I try not to overdo it. If I ever ran a half marathon or marathon, I'd get some soccer shorts or at least some thin mesh bball shorts.rnch said:those bagy bball shorts flopping around your legs don't bother you when u r running? here in hot and humid new orleans, they get wet and heavy after a few blocks for me. perhaps i am the only person this irritates.......![]()
As that one dude said, thin soccer type shorts are a good idea if bball ones seem to bulky. I just use bball shorts because they're what I have lots of anyways, though.
To the guy who started this thread: the spandex is a solid functional idea, and I do wear the UA boxerbriefs. I like UnderArmour or that type of stuff a lot because it wicks the moisture off in the heat or keeps you warm when it's cool. I used to get it for free when I played bball in college and I guess I got hooked. For the love of ___, just please put something over it though lol... just bike shorts with nothing else them is still just flamin lol...
