Does anyone know if this is illegal?
I work at a restaurant where when you call in sick the owners take you off the schedule for a week as punishment for not coming in . Like I could call and say Im sick and I cant come in. Then I will look at my schedule the next day and the whole week will be erased. And I ask the owner why im not on the schedule and he says "I took you off this week so you can rest up and come back feeling better!". When everyone knows that asshole only does it as punishment. Is that legal? Because that shit pissses me off so much.
