My brother and I were pretty much brainwashed in childhood. Ironically both my parents now share our agnostic/atheist viewpoint.

When the Romans gave "Christians" in Antioch their label it was a derogatory word. Annie just said people hate Christians and I was casually responding to that. Usually when people hear the word Christian they don't think good person but that they are stupid, foolish, and brainwashed. If you don't think it's derogatory then great. :)

Funny though that some might have to think to put two positive descriptive words in front of the word Christian. If they were living it right, just the word "Christian" should be enough.

I can always use a prayer and I believe in prayer. I also believe in "God". Probably not the same God you believe in, but I don't affiliate God with any organized religion.
My "religion" is simple, be kind, respect and love.
I went sent to Catholic schools right up until college. When I was in grade 4 and they were teaching me religion, I would come home and question my parents on it. Since then, I knew it was not in my soul to be religious.
I respect anyone who follows any organized religion as long as they don't believe they are better than anyone else and their beliefs.
