Jesse James Said Fred Durst Was Uncool

I just finished reading a article Fortune Small Business about Jesse James(the custom chopper builder and discovery channel star - in case you have been living in a cave). Anyway he has like a year waiting period for a bike and charges like a 125k which is just an extreme rip off in my opinion in the first place.

So Fred Durst(from Limp Bisket) since he has a bunch of money tried to buy his way up on the production schedule. So Jesse told him to take his business else where and he said I only build bikes for cool people.

Was Fred being uncool or was he just like any of us not wanting to wait that long and trying to pay extra for quicker service. Because I have done that before and I didn't think it was uncool it was just business.

What do ya'll think?

Oh and what do you think of his choppers compared to other builders?

Personally, I think Amen, Bourget and Orange County Choppers are every bit as cool and they don't rape you on price just because they are on the discovery channel and have a clothing line.

Yes price does go up when demand exceeds supply. But I still think you have to be silly rich or just stupid to pay that price when you could a bourget for a 1/3 of that or a Orange County Chppper theme bike for about 50 or 60k.
