New year, new log!! Need to get back into measuring food/logging as it keeps me honest and I'm noticing my pants are getting tight.....

I'm also planning/hoping to do a show on June 16th here in DE - the OCB Diamond State Natural in Figure since I have all the suits & things.

Concerns are still my right knee which is still not 100%........And I noticing more over all aches and pains......

Supps will be Glucorell/Levorex/Sesamax, glucosamine/chondroiten/msm, Multi & Vits B & C, calcium if needed.......Fat burners to be added later.....

PWO will be 1 scoop of RecoveX + 1/2 - 1 scoop of Protein Powder mixed in water.....Noticed lately I have no cravings for sweets really (good!) or PB (double good!)

As I've utilized the local trainers and even tho Fred offered his services again - I don't feel I can trust him to come thru for me, so I'm not going that route.......

Food loggage will begin tomorrow!! :martini:
 
Oh! Forgot to mention.....

Goal is still trying to add some muscle.....workout program is one I'm following from SBT (thanks Sistah!) which will be weights 4x a week + 1 day of golf per week - full course or buckets of balls....

The cals will be between 1,800-2,000.....may be on the high side at times if I'm feeling overtrained.....and will be 40/30/30....

How come no pre workout protein??? Thought you had asked for suggestions before and was wondering why the switch to just peanuts?

Like what?

I had a turkey burger + green beans which was my planned pre-workout meal but I just wasn't hungry & couldn't really bring myself to eat it....so I had the peanuts to just eat *something* basically.....

Ahhhh gotcha ;) I didn't see the planned meal there so was just wondering why there wasn't anything LOL curious minds wanted to know thats all :)

Yeah I don't type out what I plan, just what I DO..... ;)

The turkey burger/green beans will be for lunch tomorrow.....Any other ideas tho lemme know.....

I think I would leave the peanuts in right along with that meal too! I know it was suggested to me to add a fat in with that meal, that way it will sustain you at the end of your workout too when the glycogen is depleted and you've burnt up the carbs from the day :)

you know I am FULL of ideas :lmao: I think I had about ten listed the last time you PM'd with that question!!!

Knee is ok doing them, bothers it a bit cuz of the bar resting on my knee more than doing the lift itself.....


Buns - LOL @ "spatula size"!! We're peas in a pod on that one when it comes to PB!! :p

I would say one to two days right now can't hurt, thats what I am doing anyways, one day long slow distance for 30 min and one day of HIIT for 25 min... and our comps are pretty close to each other ;)

I know you say you don't like to drink your meals, but when I'm not hungry pre-workout, I drink flavored coffee and throw 2 tbsp of choc pp in there. It's hardly a meal, and if you eat it with your peanuts, you have protein + fat combo right there. And the caffeine gives you a little boost to work out. Just an idea....

Glad I could help out! I do the same for myself....I pass a Wawa on the way back to my car from work & always pick up a coffee to throw some pp into when I want to head to the gym right away.

I do that all the time too!!!! Actually coffee and PP make some of my favorite shakes :p But just some chocolate PP in coffee makes it taste like a mocha too MMM MMMMM

My boss drinks coffee all day, so we always have some made......Roons - the cappucino latte PP was delish! :p

No Wawa near you? I thought they were everywhere in this area! I :heart: their flavored coffees and used to be a big fan of their tuna hoagie in the good ol' days.

What brand is the cappucino pp? I may just have to check it out :D

That is very cool! She has an NPC show here in Philly in May. It's the same weekend as Buns & Tre's show, but if I'm not in Chicago, I was planning on going to it.

Woooooooo HOooooooooo for more sleep again! So how did that coffee maker work out for ya? I also got to do some grocery shopping today but surely not two hours worth LOL I was in and out like the flash ;)

I LOVE my new coffee maker - it's only a 20 oz. size so it's very small.....1 scoop of coffee = 1 cup...yay!

Grocery shopping took 2 hours cuz Shop Rite is havng it's yearly Can-Can sale - it's a huge sale and there is 100 gazillion people there.....took forever....

I'm hungry now, but just under 1800 cals and almost too tired to eat....so dunno if I'll eat again or not....may just go to bed....

Ohhhhhhhh I see... yeah I just started up a carb cycle today myself to shed some of this initial BF so we'll see how that goes for me ;) I've heard usually the first day back to a high carb day though makes you feel blah...

Than that's prolly why I feel blah then. I felt better on the low carb days....

Also noticed my fats were only @ 23% so that could have something to do with it.....Plus I was hungry so I ate some PB.....
