Jayman's Hst Cycle

Well week one is over, I had a little problem with the wife throwing out my maxes that I realized day 1 of cycle so had to guess what I didn't remember. I am up to 180 from 172 on Mon when I started. Feeling great and loving working out full body 3 times a week,

1 question though, If I have a problem hitting my 15 reps on any certain exersize should I stay at the same weight the next workout or continue climbing, Again I guessed some of my maxes and after competeing 3 full bodywork out I'm not thinking I'm going to be able to continue at 15 reps throughout the next 3 weeks adding 5pds each time. So increase weight and do what I can, or lower weight till I can do 15 reps?
 
I would not raise it next time...

It's better to have it too low than too high, you'll cover that weight later anyway during the 10's
 
Well 3 week review. I have gone from 172 to 186 as of mon this week which is the start of week 4. 14pds of what is probably the most lean mass I have ever put on during a ASS cycle, No bloat at all, muscles are full and cut. I have to say I was leary of HST in the beginning and I have to say I will never take another ASS cycle without using these methods, Now training natural I will say I think I would probably train my old stlye since I like to do several differant exercises for each body part when cutting.

HST has given me the most even gains from throughout my whole body I have every gotten, My arms have grown drasticlly using HST leading me to belive I was over training them before.

My streaght well lets just say I increased my 10 reps max 15pds from actual when I started and I was struggling as you might have read a couple post up, Well monday I went to the gym starting week 2 of 10's and was a power house. My streagth had doubled.

I also am enjoying the benifits of going to the gym 3 days a week instead of spending every night at the gym missing alot of the more important things in life.

HST & NPP have made my year!!!!
 
That's cool. I personally like to train each bodypart once a week and hit it hard and with a decent amount of volume, but I think I'll try out that hst for maybe 6 weeks stints at a time every 4-6 months.
 
The thing that concerns me I have supposed to take a break after 6 weeks of HST and that will be the same time my cycle ends, I don't think I want to stop training right after a AS cycle.

I was up to 187 last night at the gym, My goal is 195 in the next 2 weeks. That will be 23 pds total and hope to keep 15-18.

Do the 5 rep weeks over again because it will be ahrder minus the gear but will help you keep most of your gains...this is what i read. it is very important to bust your ass when coming off.
 
How is your HST cycle set up for AAS use? Curious about what your doing and exercises you are using.

I don't want to hijack Jay's thread but i'll answer on my behalf...15 different excercises for 24 sets. With the help of AAS I'm not having any problem completing workouts. I'm not gaining as much weight at Jayman but I definitely like the routine and plan on sticking with it.

So you are going with the standard HST routine then, with maybe a little less volume? Any tweaks or added days? Thanks for the help bro. Wanted to do HST on cycle but didn't know how to set it up.
 
I did the 15's this time around but next time I am starting with 10's..once the weights get up there then i am going to switch to 8 reps instead of 5 so that I do not damage anything...also I am going to 12 days of 10's instead of 6 and 12 days of 8's instead of 6. Then i will re-evaluate.

So let's say your max for Bench press for 10 reps is 225. Your 4 weeks of 10's would like this:

175 175 185 185 195 195 205 205 215 215 225 225

You would repeat the same workout weight for 2 days in a row?

Last question and I will leave you alone, promise :D

So let's say you can do 8 reps at 245 lbs that you calculated at the beginning of the cycle. After the 10's, should you re-evaluate your 8 rep max, or go ahead and do the 8 rep cycle then recalculate everything after the 8's for your new 10 rep max, etc?
