Jay Z, Kanye, Madonna Join Stevie Wonder's FL Boycott In Wake Of Zimmerman Verdict

I was hours from my home outside a towing yard at 1 a.m. in an all black Houston neighborhood in a Ford Excursion with 5 women and an infant. We are alive today because I was watching him wander the street at a late hour in a bad neighborhood known for giving white folks problems.

You call it profiling, I call it being situationally aware. If I hadn't been ready, a split second delay could have cost a life.

Fuck you and your self righteous horseshit, we are alive today because of my CHL and handgun, not a fucking camera.

I really don't want to address your posts, but this is one of the very few things you've typed that atleast makes some sense

In this case a criminal broke into your home.
He wasn't concerned about getting caught or who he hurt. I you believe all criminals have no concern for human life, then that's you. That's the nonsensical part of what your typing.
But you were dealing with someone who didn't care if he was dead or alive or if he killed people. So in this case , I agree with shooting him. If he broke into your house and threatened you with a gun then defend yourself....

This is totally different that the Zimmerman or Scott case. Neither of those folks had their home broken into. Neither of them were in any danger BEFORE they decided to look for trouble.
Atleast, Scott chose to defend himself in court as well by taking the stand and stating his case. Zimmerman IMHO is a lair who should be in jail.

Zimmerman did defend himself in court. He just didn't have to take the stand because the prosecution sucked. Do you even watch the people's court, bro?

Gjohnson youre a smart bro but youre holding on too tight with this. I cant believe you would dig yourself in so deep here so as to keep making excuses for criminals.

Re: Jay Z, Kanye, Madonna Join Stevie Wonder's FL Boycott In Wake Of Zimmerman Verdic

i cant remember how many times Ive seen punk bitches in the interrogation room on "First 48 hrs" show say they didnt mean to kill anyone but things just "got out of control" while they were either in the process of B&E or robbery or burglary or whatever stupid crime they were committing where anyone would have been justified blowing their head off if they caught them.
So yea I guess dumb criminals dont care about human life, but smart criminals care about human life until the plan goes wrong and they kill someone in the process of their crimes. But I guess thats all ok since they didnt mean to kill anyone when they woke up that morning.

At the point (regardless of the color of your skin or culture) a perp decides to put my myself, my family, or property in fear of great harm or death, youve sentenced yourself to death.

What kind of dreadlocked Rastafarian are you?

Neighborhood watch is not supposed to confront criminals , they are supposed to watch and call 911. The reason both Scott and Zimmerman confronted the so called criminals is because they were looking for trouble.... Be careful what you wish for. Everyone involved has been in trouble since.

Doesn't the mere existence of a neighborhood watch serve as a testament to the fundamental breakdown of our law enforcement system? Why should neighborhoods feel the need to self-organize into "Watches" in the first place? It's happened in thousands of neighborhoods across the country and all races are represented. So it clearly isn't a socioeconomic issue.

Maybe this is a watershed event. Maybe we just need to crack-down on crime. Maybe people need to realize that actions have consequences.

Here's an interesting thought:

- When schools fail students, we decide they just need more cash.
- When Medicare runs hundred-billion dollar plus shortfalls, we decide it just needs more cash.
- When cities mismanage themselves and make promises to workers they can't keep, we decide they just need more cash.

Shouldn't law enforcement need more cash too? What if we doubled-down on our crackdown on crime -- particularly burglary, muggings, murders, rape and even drugs. Think about how much we could reduce crime if we could just properly store petty burglars and drug users/dealers in prison.

Are we on the same page here? Do you like where this is going?
