i knew the japanese culture was a little off, but the shit i saw last night is unbelievable.
i was watching this documentary about modern-day canniballistic killers on HBO. the last guy they talked about is the japanese guy (i can't remember his name.) while in paris, the guy murdered this woman and spent two weeks cutting slices off of her to eat. when he finally went to dump the body, someone saw him and he was arrested. he has never denied what he did. french authorities deemed him too mentally unstable to stand trial, so they put him in a metal hospital for awhile. eventually he was shipped back to japan, where he was allowed to check himself out of a mental hospital! he is now a celebrity in japan, doing of all things, restaurant reviews. he also stars in japanese pornos. he does all this, while freely admitting to having killed and eaten a woman. he also says he still has the desire to do it.
