Janet Jackson showed her breast on the Super Bowl. Now we HAVE the attention of Congress and the government over "this terrible happening"!!! I think all Women (last I checked) have breasts. Always have. Even with clothes on you can see they have them. If you look at the old issues of National Geographic Magazine from about 1905 to date you will probably see photos of Women with their breasts bare in every issue. Not a new subject.
So how about Petroleum, the price of gasoline and heating oil? How is it that all of us are held hostage financially EVERY DAY and many are facing financial ruin probably even going without heat or at least having to lower their thermostats just to survive because the Petroleum Industry has this entire country by the throat and sets whatever price they feel like any time they feel like it - this includes now the Natural Gas Industry too - and ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING is done about this? Where is Congress on this? The government? Where is THEIR ATTENTION on this subject?
Which is MORE IMPORTANT - Janet Jackson's bare breasts or the price we all are forced to pay to survive?
This country is "an accident waiting to happen" BECAUSE we have put "all our eggs into one basket". We NEVER should have become dependent on just once source for energy - or anything for that matter. Diversity is the ONLY sure way to protect ourselves and this country. To do otherwise is ASKING for disaster.
So where is the attention of Congress and the government on the issue of this country being so dependent and so vulnerable? How is Janet Jackson's breasts more important that this?
