OZZY Osbourne’s son Jack is in a rehab clinic — at the age of 17.
The heartbroken rocker and wife Sharon wept as they visited the stricken teenager.
Sharon, 50, threw her arms round him before he shuffled back inside Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California.
Staff at the private clinic, which specialises in drug addiction and psychiatric care, refused to say what Jack was being treated for last night.
But viewers of hit reality TV show The Osbournes on MTV and Channel 4 have seen him carpeted by British heavy metal star Ozzy, 54, and Sharon for smoking pot.
And despite being four years too young to drink publicly in LA, he has admitted he loves “going out with friends and getting wasted”.
Jack’s sister Kelly, 18, told earlier this year how she had to rescue Jack from a club after he rang saying he was too drunk to walk.
She said: “He told me to collect him because he wasn’t well. He thought he’d throw up.”
Jack also began suffering insomnia and depression after the first Osbournes show, and was put on antidepressant drug Zoloft.
He had problems coping with his new-found fame, and said: “It’s hard knowing who your real friends are.
“You lose your anonymity. I can’t enjoy myself when I go out any more. I’ve been hit, I’ve been slapped, people drive by screaming that they hate me.”
Talking about drugs, Jack said: “If you test 100 17-year-olds, I guarantee 80 per cent will come up positive.
“People think I should be this perfect role model. And I am, because this is what kids do. It’s not like I’m slamming heroin.”
