I loved the line on the News that he has SURRENDERED to Police.
Like they could not find him and he had to turn himself in ?
Didn't he have a warrant ?
They should have waited until he was making a critical 3 pt shot in the middle of a game. Then ran out on the floor with K9 dogs and about 8 cops and tackled his ass..... LOL

Interesting, since this is his second gun-related offense.
The rest of the story is ridiculous. Who do you know that would be permitted to remain under "house arrest" with pending felony charges until his attorney returned from a trip outside the country? The police were outside his mansion while he threw a big party over the weekend---I suppose they were there to direct traffic. The absence of equal treatment under the law in this case is a travesty.

"As Iverson prepared to turn himself in, his mother defended him outside his home late Monday.
"He knows he's got to do what he's got to do," Ann Iverson said. "I'm going to stick by my son because I know the man he is. I tell him don't worry about it, everything happens for a reason".
WTF does that mean? It is laughable---the type of gargbage that gets spewed by a parent who knows their kid out of control. The whole thing is a joke.

If it wasn't for basketball, Allen Iverson would be just like any other product of the ghetto...he would either be dead or locked up.
Iverson is trash. It's a travesty that anyone would see him as a role model (although many people do).
