we've had some mild days now lately..but because of the cold that was before, the ground is still frozen..so instead of melting, the snow has turned to ice..so its dangerous to walk outside. ice everywhere

There are few things funnier in life than watching Southerners try to drive when it snows. Y'all get an inch and your governors are declaring a state of emergency Schools, airports, and work are all closed when it flurries. Too funny. The way things are looking, eventually you'll all be the ones with snow and I'll be stuck in the windy cold with no snow. That'll suck!

Had 6" of snow here Wednedsday and Thursday.

And freak theres a reason why they call a state of emergency and shut everything down here when it snows. Way to many mororns here are in a rush to get nowhere fast no matter if it snows are not. So you have a bunch of kamikaze driver who can't drive in the snow. Plus it's usually not freezing on the ground long enough when it does snow here and we get a lot of ice underneath. You add that to the way people drive here and I would say it's a good thing they do shut everything down.
