some guy i work with moved into a unit in my building where he can see in my window (he's not stalking me or anything, well i hope not), but it kinda ruins the fun of running around in the buff... can't have the co-workers knowing what i look like naked, they'd never get any work done lol :)

bm: do some of the mods have to be on the boards at all times? do you guys have shifts, or are you just visiting like everyone else, whenever you feel like it?
 
Some things are very cool....and others just bring more pain than I think that I can bear at times. Luckily, I have some good friends that are always a phone call, email, IM or chat board away. Thanx guys.

Sorry to hear that Kayne...but believe me when I tell you the shit that I (and my girls) have had to endure is completely beyond comprehension....I mean, if I sit and think about it, my mind comes to a screaching halt as if someone had thrown a wrench into the gears....but I know that tomorrow is another day and as long as my girls are healthy and we have each other it'll all be good.

I was laughing - the only difference in our evenings is my soy nut butter... I may have to fire up a vodka & pineapple juice just to be different. Just returned from visiting the family up north and seeing my new nephew - first baby in my family in about 30 years so a big deal for all involved. Now that I'm home its sort of an anti-climax.

Ranger - sorry for your f'd up evening - The Beach was a weird movie anyway.

Kayne - hope you end up w/ what you want tonite - sometimes its better to break off and move on. Sometimes not. Wish you luck.

Rotten thoughts on life-

Everyone is a loser one time or another in life, the trick is just not acting like one. You don't seem like the loser type to me BM, you just sem a little down on your luck. Look at it this way, at least you still have your girls, I wish I had that option. My wife an I are getting ready to split too, but I have to keep from bing a loser and keep on keeping on. I know you'll do the same thing. Keep your head up.
 
Rotten I am truly sorry to hear about you and your wife....and you ARE RIGHT...I do have everything I need. It hurts me deeply though to see those that I love most in so much pain and confusion. I just don't know sometimes, what the right thing is to do, to try and make it seem a little more clear...a little easier for them. Y'know?

BM, you never can really know the right thing to do. You just o what feels best to you and hope that it works out to be the right thing. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose, but you have to give it your best shot so you can say you did all you can. Advice is really useless, you do what your heart tells you no matter what anyone says. I am making absolutely no sense so I'm going to leave it at that. You just have a huge support team if you need people to vent to. Sometimes venting helps more then anything.

BTW, I would never disrespect George by spamming on his board, but if you get time there's the Doghouse to vent to also. I know this is your online home first and formost.
 
Actually I do lurk at the Doghouse Rotten. :) I just feel funny. Even though I know almost everybody there and you guys are good people...there are some that I KNOW would have a field day with my REAL LIFE.

The day to day bullshit, I can handle.....but this is very traumatic and I still too fresh for me to openly discuss. I could not handle being cut to ribbons by total strangers just yet. It is bad enough that I have to endure almost daily taunting and humiliation in my REAL LIFE....but that is soon coming to an end, also.

When it is a bit "further away" I will share....and I know you guys are genuine and will not have a field day with my pain.

Reminds me of a quote from the movie "The Santa Clause," (I know, what?) Anyway, the saying goes "most people think that seeing is believing, but sometimes believing is seeing." This translates to true friends believe in you without question and you believe in them the same.

You are always there to help them out and vise versa. Neither ever has to ask "when are you going to pay me back, or you owe me one. True friends never question, they just do.
