If the US and the UN has been warning them against it and talking about sanctions against them if they continue, why the hell would they come out and announce it to the world?

I dont understand that. Are they really giving the UN the finger or do you think it may be more of a media propaganda stunt by the US and UN to gain support to attack Iran?

Seeing how Bush gained support to go to war with Iraq it makes me wonder.
