that I have a shitload of CDs. So far I have written up 6 pages front and back with no spaces of discs. I still have 4 boxes to catalog. Each of these boxes have at least 40 discs in them. My writing hand is forming into a claw from writing so much. Then I still want to type all these into a spreadsheet.

i'll take all the metal and thrash. i think my collection spans 130cds of my own, mostly metal, some classic rock thrown in there, and some newer rock stuff.

add about 40 burned CDs, most of which was stuff i already had on tape, so i didn't feel guilty downloading it.

hell, i'm thinking about dropping out of linux and back into windows so i can download some more stuff that i had on tape. that'd be a good idea actually.

i have an external hard drive hooked into a laptop sitting on an amplifier with 500 odd albums on it. (full albums...names and everything)

then just start saving playlists

buddy of mine had about 2000 CDs in his apartment. 4 bookshelves in his room, 5 shelves on each one, all filled with CDs. it was sickening. he had absolutely everything you could think of too, from heavy heavy stuff to blues, jazz, classical, unbelievable. he also had a Grateful Dead tape collection with i think over 300 tapes in it. i saw his collection a few years ago and was just in shock.

he said his vynal collection was even more sickening. that was in storage at his mother's house.
