It's almost like high school again

My fraternity formal is tonight, and I feel like I am in high school again almost. I've got a great dress and a great date. My hair and make-up are being done at 4. My date is coming to get me at 5:40. Last year, it was catered. This year, you go eat beforehand. (The high school like part). Then there is a formal and a guy is throwing a party afterward where most people will get completely trashed. I'm not even sure if I am going to the party or not. That depends on my date. Who feels like I am going to prom all over again? lol Oh well, I still think it's going to be a great night!

Why 5:40 though? Why not 5:30 or 5:45? 5:40?

Hun, you better get your butt in gear. And lol, I don't know why 5:40. Anytime he has ever picked me, it's a funny time. There is this thing on Wednesday nights at 9. And when he used to drive me to that, he always picked me up at 8:40. So don't ask me. I'll never understand men.

Lol. Thanks Jim! I'm really looking forward to tonight. I don't plan on getting drunk though. It's rare for me to drink period. There is a cash bar at the formal also. So some won't even wait until the thing is over before they get drunk off their ass.

Yea especially when everyone gets to watch you get dragged out of a club by some big jamaican bouncer because u lost the ability to walk and had passed out in the middle of the room

It would only take a six pack to put me on my back these days, but I had some drinking days in the past. The guys who live next door are typical party animals. One of them has a job at the local liquor store so he can get the discouunt, so he can afford to drink more! That is committed to the cause! I can't live my life like that, but it sure makes for some interesting nights laughing at my neighbors.
