The new Muscle Fitness and Hers sucks ass. This used to be a half decent mag now all they have is pics of chics working with maybe 10-20 lbs at the most. Makes me ill

They all blow now. There are no pubs now with serious training articles aimed at female lifters.

I think it serves as a great injustice to woman. I mean the average woman believes that if she lifts more than 20 lbs. she is going to become a hulk. We all know that is not true but a lot of people new to train look to those mags for advice and all they are full of now is total BS. I am thinking about writing a letter to the editors both Oxygen and MS for Her.

Oh thank God I'm not the only one who thinks this!!!!!! ;)

I totally can't stand M&F Hers anymore.....Shape also sucks.....I do read Oxygen which is better than the previous two somewhat......I finally subscribed to the regular M&F....

I didn't renew my M&F Hers after it changed formats. It sucks SO bad now. I pick it up and flip through it to see if I am in it, then put it back on the shelf. :)

I still get Oxygen, I have been a subscriber since the beginning....still enjoy most of it.

Shape is useless unless you lift pink dumbells and your stats are 5'10" 95lbs.

But honestly, any REAL fitness/diet advice I want - I'll get here.

They're all just ads. I only like Women's Fitness RX now.
That's a good one. I actually bought the latest M&F Hers just because it had a special running section. lol.

I agree. They've definitely dumbed it down in an effort to be all things to all people.

Even though I don't want to be as muscular as a fitness competitor, if I'm going to pay $$ for a fitness magazine, then I want to see examples of REAL fitness. That means pictures of women at the top of their game, be it figure, fitness, bodybuilding, or ANYTHING - as long as they're extraordinary in the fitness sense, not just a pretty face modeling a cutsie outfit posing with some dumbbells.
