After about six months of recruiting and visiting schools and talking to coaches---driving all over the southwest--visiting, trying out and competing . . . .

My kid sister found the right school to play Volleyball at and got a Full Ride!!

She decided on a JuCo here in Texas but they have a top notch program and she will more than likely be starting from day one b/c they are only returning four players from last year.

This is truly one of the most proud days of my life b/c I have watched my sis grow up playing ball and working hard to be the best she can be and now it is paying off for her. She will play on scholarship for two years at juco and then transfer to UTA or A&M to continue playing and study Architechture. Here position is OH/MH.

This was here fourth offer, but the others just were not a good fit for her. I swear we have talked to umpteen million coaches and sent out bookoo e mails over the past months. this stuff is harder work than I thought but I am smarter now b/c of it.

Y'all probably dont care, but for us this is big!!

thanks for read'n:)

Thanks

Yeah, I'll tell ya though. I was a little aprehensive about encouraging her to go to a juco b/c she has worked so hard to get good grades(3.86). However, she really feels like it will be a good place for her to go and get better and get some valuable experience, when she would see minimal playing time at a four year school.

Its really cool to see people so supportive of their siblings.. everyone talks of sibling rivary, but in their true nature, our brothers and sisters are our closest links in life and its great to see ones supportivness and pride for them family...

cheers bro, I hope lil sister kicks some juco ass...

Thanks Y'all---I gotta go play softball now.:)

Steroid Virgin---I could not agree more. I believe that God gave us families for a reason--to look out for one another.:)
