This is great news. Israel is better suited in many respects to lower terrorism. Anyway Israel is a more logical target for the terrorists. I'm up for most things that will decrease terrorism in America.
We are super soft. We just can't handle terrorism domestically. Most of the population would curl up in front of the TV's and die.

might have been nice to give the peace process one last shot, or given yasar arafat one last chance
if they had put it to him 'get those who did the crimes or its scorched earth time' and he shoved it in their faces i coud understand this.
sharon aint exactly popular over their so this might have been a way to push up his approval, plus he's shown he's unable to show restraint or even basic humanity in the past.
arafat needs to clamp down on those who are doing this at least long enough to get talks underway and if he cant its unfortunately his fault. but in this case he's not had the chance. He's found traitors before so why he cant find these guys i dunno.
and this will do very little to appease any militant arabs if we go along with it

the chechens would be going from international sympathy pre sep-11 to being really fucked over by russia. still they are fighting in afghanistan at the mo.
