Instead of attacking the Middle East and having them hate us, why don't we just attack Israel and make some friends in the Middle East?

No more increased homeland security spending.

No more long lines at airports.

Are you seriously saying that a country the size of New Jersey controls the richest and most powerful country in the world? They have alot of influence, but you forgot to mention the fact that we give more money each year to Egypt. What do we get from Egypt? The people on the streets of Egypt are the ones who came up with the idea that Israel was behind the World Trade Center attack. At least the people of Israel don't overtly hate Americans.

I heard this same kind of talk in a class I took this summer. I was quite surprised that the teacher was going out of his way to stand up (somewhat) for the Palestinians. It was very interesting and thought provoking. I really wish I had more teachers like him.

Based on TV alone, one would have to believe Israel is just being picked on by other nations. It's nice to hear the other side of things.

My point is still valid. Egypt receives $2.1 billion and Israel receives $3 billion. At least Israel acts like a friend to the U.S. Who fucking cares how big a country is. That is American tax payers money of which $1.3 bil is military aid. Does it matter how big a county is if it all goes to their military anyway. What other country gives $14 billion of tax payer money in foreign aid of $ 5 billion is to just Israel and Egypt?
