What in the hell is wrong with our news media? They keep talking about all of the "colateral" damage in Afghanistan. I personally do not give a fuck about the civilian casualties in Afghanistan. Every civilian casualty is the fault of Al Quaeda and the taliban. They single handedly brought on the ass kicking that they are receiving. The news media ought to show the impact that the 9/11 attacks have had. Instead of showing us stories about the 10 or so Afghan civilians that were killed, show us the new born babies that have been born that will never have a father because of those terrorist bastards. The news media seems to have forgotten that the U.S. has suffered over 5,000 civilian casualties! They seem more concerned about 1 or 2 afghan casualties than the thousands of American casualties.

The reason you should care:
We drop bombs. Those bombs kill civilians. The Taliban reporters film the body recovery.
That film shows on Islamic television.
Taliban sympathisers in Pakistan riot when they see the reports.
The Pakistan government is shakey and can only withstand so much.
A revolution in Pakistan would put nuclear missles in the hands of the terrorists.

The US will have to send in ground troops to occupy Afghanastan before the Taliban can be removed. If ground troops are sent in , its going to be a blood bath. The taliban have been arming civilians to fight the Americans.

Right now, the State Dept is bombing the shite out of Taliban positions in hopes Northern Alliance ground troops can take control of Taliban occupied areas. If this scenerio doesnt work....

1) The US will send in ground troops = heavy american causalities
2) The US continues aerial assualts of Taliban positions, leaving the Taliban, Bin Laden, and the Al Queda network, relativily intacked = increased probability of terrorist attacks.

I think what were going to see in the future is an infusion of US capital into Pakastans government to "qwell" Muslim extremists. This may seem like a decent short term solution, but will have serious long term repercussions.....more antiamerican sentiment will be produced by Pakastans "crack down" of Muslim fundamentalists via American $$, consequenlty more terrorists will be recruited.

You are right bro! I also remember hearing the media say "the U.S. has sent 50,000 body bags to Kuwait." They don't have a clue. If I remember correctly, we had so few casualties and injuries the our doctors spent more time treating the Iraqis than us.
