its not the amount of times you go to the gym nor the amount of time your there that indicates a goodworkout or schedule....i made great gains, myself, going 3 times a week and going 3 at most 4 exercises all based around the core 3 exercises with low rep 5 max....its all about what you do while your in there, dont socialize put the headphones in your ears and no one will bother you hit it hard and get out.....

If you were you wouldn't be able to do 25 min of cardio after legs. On leg day your ass should be dragging at the end. Also I think hitting legs 2x in such close succession MAY be a mistake (maybe not but probably), same with back. Hit it hard and don't let anybody in the gym work out with more intensity and focus than you do. That should be your goal and it's something you can control. I like
monday - chest in the evening (with cardio in the AM)
tues - back and abs
wed - legs
Thurs - Shoulders and abs (cardio in the AM)
Fri - arms
sat & sun off
I aslo agree you should have waited on the gear. 20% is just too high. Wait till you get to 10-12% then sauce up.

monday-Chest and tricep burnout
jmt24 said:What i meant by a burnout is that after I'm done with chest and back, I usually can't do a full tri and bi workout at my usual weights so i do about 4-6 sets at around 10 reps. I found a body fat calculator online and it estimated i was at 13% which is way under what i thought. I've never been tested for BF so it was just a guess. I also have a slight knee problem so I can't workout my legs at full tilt which is why I'm able to do cardio afterwards and legs twice a week. As far as intensity goes, I def have enough in the gym. I never socialize, just hit the weights hard. For instance, i couldnt even do 1 pushup after my chest workout today.

I'll try using knee braces for squats and presses. hopefully that will help. i also have some clicking but it really depends on the day. i also get some light pain below my kneecap. again, every day its hit or miss.
bluetwistedsteel67 said:yeah, nagging pain is just part of the price you pay, This is not a healthy sport, it's a vanity sport. Better to look good and hurt than look weak and feel great. As for BF %, the measurment system is not accurate. Basically if you have very well defined abs you're at 10% if you have visable abs (without flexing) you're at about 13% if wou can almost see them popping out but not quite see the definition you're at about 15%. BF% is only accurate with under water weighing. Bro, my advice is fuck the clicking sound in your knees and forget about all that bullshit with hyper extending and fucking squat. You will not grow without squating period (IMO). Show me someone that doesn't squat and I'll show you 9 times out of 10 somebody that says they can't because of bad knees. The real reason people don't squat is the same reason I hate squating. It hurts like hell and makes you feel like you're going to puke. But you gotta do it bro, fight through the pain and I'll bet your knee joints tighten up and I can guarantee you'll grow.
