you shup! at first i thought "you cant do it without a lock" but if you have each body of water at a different height in the first place (and i suppose redirect it or something) then its doable...but youd think that it would be easier to just have a crossing like any other intersection

An elevated canal seems like a ridiculous concept, but those bridge pilings appear to be heavy enough for the task, certainly they're bigger than they'd need to be if the bridge was just a roadway.
not so hard for the engineering part... hell, i could whip up some stats right now on the structure etc and the weak/strong pts... my thing is why? you can't run much thur it because of the deepness of the canal
