a 14 can fly that low , but a person wouldnt be able to take any bit of what that guy would be goin through
 
after a digital scan analysis with high resolution imagery pixel breakdown of the photo im gonna have to say yes. anyone who's ever flown an F-14 clearly knows that by using your thrust force deflectors and by pulling a low 2G stall right after a downward tail motion(done simply by forcing a thrust stall and then immediately applying full thrust several times) that there is no doubt that the jet can perform as shown.

as far as the mans arms being pulled off, as long as he's using the newest kevlar impregnated navy surf suit(which is impregnated with actual spider webbing material) he should be fine.

i also scanned the photo and digitized it to analyze the wave created by the thrusters and the surfer. after careful study ive concluded that they both fall within range of what would be expected under such conditions.

so yes the photo is authenic.
