Is this normal?

I do 6 hour refeeds on Sunday night, basically a pig out on carbs straight for 6 hours. I get the usual bloated feeling. Well, always, on Sunday night and Monday, I get wicked gas and shits. Is this my metabolism increasing? Isn't this a positive feeling, knowing my refeed is working? Thanks bros

I'm not a big fan of refeeds. I did one day a week refeeds and it usually ended up in sugary cereal binges which would make me so bloated it would take until my next refeed to get back to normal. So it felt like I was only maintaining my weight rather then losing it. If you stick to good carbs you might be a lot more successful.
As for your gas, I think that is just because of all fibre your body just took in and its not used to it.

That's the idea, spick insulin eating HIGH GI foods, don't forget to eat PiZZA!

Personal, try to eat HI GI foods in the am and start calming down at night, don't glutonous(sp).

Well if your refeeding w/ high GI carbs (will raise leptin the most efficiently and fastest) then fiber should be minimal. Its most likey your body not being used to all the different types of foods on one day.

If you have been eating chicken/rice and steak w/ whey powder for some time, your body gets used to those types of foods and will react when you start in on the cereal, pasta and large amounts of dextrose.

I used to eat anything lowfat high GI on my refeeds and i would pay for it w/ having trouble digesting the food later. I have found out just sticking w/ a few different meals and eating them throughout the day to work better.
