Is tapering Test Necessary, If so is it better to start at a high dose, then slowly go down. Or is it better to start low, go higher as the cycle progresses, then go lower again to come off. Please help !!!

if you don't taper you will have a large amount of test in your blood for many weeks after your last injection. Tapering just provides a better means of controling your blood levels and knowing what they are at a given time. I would keep the test at the same level and taper the dosage for the last 2 weeks.

Exactly as Horny said, also you can switch to a shorter acting steroid at the last few weeks this would prevents you from tappering off or large amount of Steroids being stored at your body for 3-4weeks and that's would interrupt the recovery phase

My last cycle was test ethanate only with nolvadex, HGC,etc

I tapered up, in the future I'm just going to do about 800 mg per week no tapering up or down.

I was talking about tapering only with shorter acting esters like enanthate and cypionate. .

I don't see a point in tapering. If one is using enanthate,for example, he waits one week after last injection and then starts Clomid, or if he uses more then a gram a week, he can wait 10 days. Test is not just stored in a body, it is doing its job on making one grow.
I like the idea of short acting esters, but at the end it's still the same, user waits a couple days instead of many.
What's important is to know half lives of used Test and ajust timing for Clomid accordingly.
On the other side, tapering is robbing yourself off gains, cutting cycle shorter.

See here is an example of someone who starts clomid therapy too soon. 1000mg of test ennathate will take much longer than 10 days to get out of oyur system. 1000mg of test enanthate will take at least 20 days to be 95 percent gone and this is a very liberal estimate. 100mg takes 10 days to get out of the system. Taking 10 times that will change up the pharmokinetics alot.

I know it cannot be stored at the body but there is something called half-life, by mean after 5days you'll get 500mg, 5days later 250, 5days later 125mg , 5days later 62.5mg and so on

that's why you can show up to be positive on the drug tests after several months
