is this much weight loss normal after a cycle?

i ran prop and dbol for 6 weeks. prop at 300mg/week and dbol at 50mg/day.

i gained a total of about 22 lbs but now im almost 3 weeks into the PCT and ive lost about 12 lbs so far. i know dbol gives really wet gains and i expected to lose a lot but not this much.

i should point out that i have not lost much strength at all. maybe 5-10lbs on compound lifts.

i was eating 5000 kcal/day on cycle but i cut it down to ~4500/day now. its still well above my maintenance.

pct is clomid 100mg/day and nolva 40mg/day for 4 weeks. im near the end of week 3. i got some bloodwork done and am waiting on the results. they should be in today or tommorow. libido is shot btw. i can get it up if i really want to but i have no desire at all.

Both of those are heavy on the water gains and I would expect to lose almost 2/3 of what was gained if everything is optimal in your recovery.

There is good reason that the drugs that produce long term gains are more expensive. IMO one would be much better staying away from gear like that unless there is a specific performance reason such as "in season" or a contest, power lifting or body building.

If your in the game for aesthetics and general love of the iron my advice would be to spend the extra money and run only the highest quality gear that will bring the most permanent gains. I would rather gain 10 lbs and lose 2 on a cycle than gain 22 and lose half or more.

Other factors are the social aspects, people that you see daily are going to wonder why you exploded then shrank. It is also very hard on the body and ego.

Your body will have a hard time putting on and maintaining muscular weight and a very reasonable goal might be to gain no more than 10 lbs per year. At that rate in three years you will have 30 lbs that you can keep year round without having to work your ass off and continue cycling. 30 lbs that is not going away - priceless..
