Can pasta cause dirahhea? Last 2 times I ate pasta....i had the runs! Why is that? And the pasta is plain pasta. No sauce!

I wouldn't think so, but how much did you eat?

I've found that no matter what I'm eating, too much of a good thing can be bad.

it was my last solid meal of the day. Which it was at 4:30pm. All I ate was 1 cup of pasta with 2 cans of chicken. And then at 12am, I woke up with cramps. And I have been going to the toilet every hour thereafter. I haven't slept all night long. All it was very, very watery stool. Almost clear in a way. But very painful from the cramps! And this is the NOT the first time this happened this week. It happend to me Monday night. And that day I also had pasta at 4:30. But I started to get the cramps at around 7pm. What the hell woudl the pasta have anything to do with this????

Was the pasta "fresh" (or out of a bag) or did you boil it? If it was out of a bag, or fresh it could very well be food-poisoned.
Did you have a sauce with it? Could it be a sauce?
Was it a whole wheat pasta? Perhaps your body is not used to the fibre content?

I vote for the chicken...

Pasta comes in a box. I keep the box in the fridge. Yes! It is whole wheat pasta. But for the serving I take...it says that I'm only consuming 2grams of fiber. No sauce was used.

As an Italian, I used to eat pasta all the time...when my wife started with Keto dieting, I cut it out of my diet as well...And I don't fart 20 hours a day like I used to. Sometimes people and certain foods just don't mix.

And I used to think it was normal to fart for hours on end - especially in the morning.

Laura describes how a close examination of her diet helped her IBS: “I was placed on every kind of medication, and sometimes they worked in the short term, sometimes they didn't work at all. The doctor finally suggested trying to alter my diet in cycles, and we discovered that eating meat was my problem. I became a vegetarian and no longer have constant problems. Sometimes I even go years without any pain at all. It's worth all the effort you put into it when you finally feel better.”

Mina also found that dietary change helped control her symptoms, alongside traditional medication: “I've made a number of changes to my diet. I've eliminated milk and mostly any dairy, fried foods, sugar for the most part, pop, alcohol, potato chips, spicy food, rice, pasta and bread. Most recently I'm eliminating flour. But my best friend for the last couple of years has been Imodium Quick Dissolve tablets. I don't ever leave home without them. I just have to make sure I don't overdo it. If I ever become immune to the wonder drug I am gonna be a real mess!”

Your pasta may be contaminated by salmonella

How the hell does that happen if the dry pasta is in a box? And the box is kept in the fridge.

Because it's not sterilized as cans

But its in fridge bro. How will it go bad? It doesn't even say on the box to store in the fridge. I just do it anyways. Not only that....but what about the fucking hot boiling water I use to cook it? That's got to kill something! Right?
