I just got my new diet today for my5th week with deca+test and its only 2900 cal,I was at 2600 for the first 3 weeks lowering b.f.just a little,I don't feel this is enough calories but I'm working with a national comp who writes these out for me and i don't know if i'm wrong or not +if somebody could e-mail me a good diet or at least tell me something it would be greatly appreciated.:)

What are the goals of your cycle. That makes all the difference in the world. Can't help you until this little, miniscule, tiny, insignificant detail is covered. If you're cutting it sounds right(depending on macronutrient ratio). But if you bulking it's not nearly sufficient to build mass. I get the idea you're cutting so I would say it's about right on target, but again that will depend on workload and metabolism.

actually the goal of the cycle was to put on about 15-20 lbs of lean muscle,i'm trying to break200 or so.I was also only working out each body part 1 a week, and now he put me on a 3 day split, but i'm only 8-9%b.f. i really don't care about getting any leaner, the diet is approx 3060 cal,
meal1-2 scoops whey
8 oz o.j

post workout-2 scoops whey 4oz o.j

meal2-2 scoops whey
2 tbsp all natural p.b.
2 pcs.100% whole wheat

meal3-
8oz grilled chicken
1 cup. brown rice
veggies

meal4- 6oz tuna
1/2 cup,brown rice

meal5,6oz lean sirloin+veggiesw/ 1 tbsp dressing regular

meal6-2 scoops whey+8oz skimmilk

any more suggestions?

It does seem low in my opinion but if you are working with somebody I would only listen to that person. There is a method to his madness. Once you start changing things around let him know so he can switch it up for you. Too many people go wrong by trying to take advise from more than one person. What he says might not seem right but I bet it will all fall into line.

Well I think I'm going to up it 400 cal or so.I have a pretty quick metabolism,I think I.m going to stick with the diet posted and add my calories from carbs or protien?I don't want to pass up an oppurtunity to grow!

P.s.I'm in the middle of week 4 of test+deca haven't felt to much yet,I do however have weight gain.My cycle is pyramiding from low to high, then back to low, when will i tell a difference in my apperance,or could my shit be bogus!?

If you increase your calories do it with protein and make sure you tell the dude who is helping you so he knows the adjustments.

I think the calories are WAY too LOW. Food sources look good and wholesome but generally you need more calories to gain the mass you desire. I would suggest 4000 calories with more emphasis on protein in addition to the current meal plan you have. 2900 calories is not much food energy for a hard trining body to repair and build muscle mass. In my opinion the diet plan you have os too reliant on protein poweder. I would add calories in the form of whole food protein sources. Chicken, Beef, Cottage cheese, Eggs, just to name a few. Looks like you need more carbs as well to sustain vigorous training and spare dietary and muscle protein. You need more efa's too. All you have is 2tbsn of PB for a fat source. Incorporate some flax in there and you'll cover all the necessities. I would simply eat more. Muscle isn't manufactured out of air. You need bricks to build the house(protein) and fuel to run the engine(carbs). Growth of muscle tissue is a calorie devouring process as is intense training. EAT to grow.

cool thanks for the info, see I didn't think it was enough,do you happen to know were on the web were i can get a different diet as far everything being correct as far as fat ratios, carb ratios ,to protien...there was a week before i got my diet that i was consuming 300 carbs,300 grams protein+70-80 grams of fat from peanut butter, flaxseed oil+dressings I made this up on my own it also was about3500to 3800 cal a day...THANKS
