Okay...this a letter to the editor of my hometown newspaper. Personally I think this is ludicrous and demeted religious babble. I excluded the name of this poor woman although if she knew I was posting this on the internet, she would probably be proud of it and WANT her name on it. I just had to share this bullshit with someone. Comments?

“Fear Of God No Longer Exists...”
Dear Editor:
Everyone who has written in favor of the Harry Potter books/products have all spoken about fantasy, well I would like to know what has happened to safe, healthy and clean fantasy?? Someone wrote about this being a free country; yes, thank God it is, but does this give us an excuse to partake and let our children be partakers in what is wrong in the eyes of God? Should we use liberty and freedom as a license to practice things that God does not approve of??
Why can’t society see the danger, ungodliness and uncleanliness of this material?? Doesn’t anyone care anymore?? Why is it that society will go out and spend 95 million dollars in two days to watch a movie that is nothing more than an abomination to Almighty God? The fear of God no longer exists in the heart of man anymore, there is no love or respect for the God that this country was founded on. People will go out and give satan their money, but they won’t even darken the door-steps of God’s House and bring to Him their first fruits (tithes and offerings) and He still has enough love and mercy about Him to bless this society because they are blinded in their sin. Think how 95 million dollars could have profited the Kingdom of God. More lives reached, more souls won to God. This society should be ashamed. God sees all of us. Proverbs 15:3 says: The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. You say Harry Potter fights evil with his witchcraft, well I would like to know how evil if fought with evil?? My Bible tells me that witchcraft is evil itself. We need to be teaching our children to defeat evil with the word of God not the works of satan, don’t you see how twisted this is? I know that some of you are laughing at all this but it is no joke and God is definitely not laughing and those who uphold this wickedness won’t stand at the Judgment of God laughing, but instead they will be crying and pleading with Him and it will be too late to repent. Ephesians 4:27 says: give no place to the Devil. Ephesians 4:11, 14, 15, 15 says: And have no fellowship with the works of darkness but rather expose them. Wake you who sleep, arise from the dad, and Christ will give you light. See that you walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise redeeming the time for the days are evil. God says that we are either for Him or against Him. We can’t serve two masters, we will hate one and love the other. Too many people have got one foot in the world and one foot in the church house and no one can truly serve the lord in this condition. We must love the Lord with our whole heart and that means living a Holy, clean, acceptable life before Him without trash like Harry Potter. Scripture says, without Holiness no man shall see God. The blood of Jesus Christ makes us Holy and we should never forget that.
