Is this an infection? Help this shit hurts!

Hey fellas, I did my first shot of QV250 on monday & later posted about the pain the next day. Well it's going on 4 days now & it hurts less but, is not gone. There is no knots or redness around the injection site. However below it (on my glute) there is a large red patch that is a bit warm. I'm not running a fever & I feel fine. I've heard that the first shot of QV250 is painful then your body gets used to it. That's fine if that's the case. I guess my questions are this. How long should I wait to see if it's actually an infection & not just a reaction? I did everything possible to be sterile, alcohol, shower, 1pin to draw, 1 pin to inject. If this is an infection, should I do something to my gear to sterilize it? I'm due to do my next injection tonight but, i don't want to mess up my other side. I have a hard enough time sitting & sleeping as it is with this one. My ex wife is a medical assistant & is giving me a Z-Pak (zithromax) tomorrow, will this get rid of it if? From what I understand it's one of the strongest Antibiotics. I would ask her but, I sure as the hell don't want her to know I juice. I didn't start untill after we were divorced & she may use it against me some day. Thanx all for your help......Supertech

BTW - if all you're going to say is get your ass to the doctor to bump your post count up please skip it, I'm no dumbass if it doesn't go away that's exactly what I'll do but, I want to try an avoid it first.

If it's an infection, Zithromax will kill anything, you'll also need acidopholous as you'll kill your natural flora and fauna.

IMHO, it sounds more like too much BA and that you're sensitive to it. Not too worry. I've seen QV, SUS and other injects that leave lumps for over a week including reddness and warmness. Unless you start feeling ill, have a fever or start seeing streaks stemming from the site (sure sign of blood poisoning) I'd not worry. The Zithro will not hurt you other than kill your digestion and assimilation effectiveness for a few weeks.

It doesn't sound like an infection to me. Give it another 2-3 days tops before going to a doc. IF the pain is getting better that's a very good sign. Infections are usually VERY red and VERY painful to the touch. If yours feels a bit better from rubing it the don't worry and even if it hurts to rub it chill out and give it more time. You'll be fine. Since you're being responsible here, I'd say worse case scenario would be antibiotics which ain't bad.

well I'm going to hang on to the Z-Pak anyways just in case I need it later. Should I do anything different before my next injection? Like nuke it for about 7 or 8 secs? I'm not a big fan of this but, I don't want to continue to go through this. The dimple/concave part near the injection is gone, even when I flex it. LOL If you have a reaction to high BA does your body get used to it after the first time or two? I've always done Tornel & have never had this problem.

I highly doubt your body gets used to it. Stick to quads and glutes only. The worst reaction I've ever had was to IP shit. Man alive, I have never swelled up that much nor have I eveer seen anyone else, not even in pictures. I shot my delt with his sust and my arm turned into a balloon - literally - for like 1.5 weeks. I went to the doc and emergency to be sure it wasn't an infection. I think it's more of a reactio to the pain though. I later shot the end of a vial of home-made fina and had a similar swell up but not as bad though no problems the 8 weeks before that. That last injection was very painful for about 10 minutes - worse than 0.75cc of pgf2a.

Bro, shots hurt for days all the time. I've been shooting prop into my delts on this last cycle. Every shot hurt like a bitch for 4 days. I finally had to drop the prop.

sofageorge: im having the same prop, i just have been on prop for a week and my delts and glutes are killing me. if i can trade one of my friends for some other gear im going to dump these 100amps of this shit. it hurts for like 5 days after each shot.

supertech69: this sounds exactly what happened to me when i took sustretard, it gave a swollen glute everytime for like 5 days and it sucked cause i was shooting 4cc in my glutes every 7 days. first shot i couldent walk from th eswelling so i went to the doc. it was not an infection and he lectured me on roids. fuck him! good luck bro. NO PAIN NO GAIN!

Well, I went ahead & did my next shot last night & to no surprise pain is starting on the other side of my ass now. I guess the good this is that because both sides hurting I doubt it's an infection. I surely hope it isn't like this for the next 9 weeks. Is the reaction due to the BA content & if so, will nuking it help? How long should I put it in there for. or should I just heat the whole 50ml jug in the oven? I realize no pain no gain but, DAMN I can't walk w/out limping & I've got my kids this weekend. We have season passes to the waterpark & my son will want me to ride slides with him all day long. Gonna be a painful weekend! It's really gonna suck if my glutes don't get better within the next 4 days, I'll be shooting my quads, then I'm going to be crippled from the waist down!
