Is there such a thing as too many protein drinks?

I'm only eating tuna and edimame now. I'm thinking I can up my protein drink intake just to round out my numbers, and it can be used to fill up some extra space in my stomach.

You think there is any serious harm in having a lot of protein drinks on top of all my meals? It's Isopure low carb chocolate.

I dont' see why not unless you are in Ketosis--the extra protein will kick you out of Ketosis. Otherwise, you're fine.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but I've heard that if you eat extreme amounts of protein, your chances of getting a "rectal cancer" of some sort increase. Yikes. But if you eat a lot of bread, then again your chances decrease.

You mean prostate cancer: that's a MYTH! nothing that I have seen in SCIENCE that proves this. NO SCIENCE=NO PROOF. This is an idiot myth spread by someone who knows absolutely nothing about the human genome and makeup.

High amounts of protein will only put strain on your kidneys, there have not been any tests to tell whether the strain is a real risk factor though, the only tests done were on those with weakened kidneys-- of course the high protein further degraded their kidneys because they were in bad shape already, it is not known how 'bad' it may effect a healthy persons kidneys though.

I wouldent worry too much about high protein unless you're going crazy with it like 700g a day or so... or if you have kidney problems.
