Is there a maximum of sets per workout?

It's going to vary greatly from person to person. It all depends on your goals, your body, your nervous system, recovery time, diet, etc...

well it's made almost an year im training you think 6 days/week would be too much for me

im 18years old 5''8 170lbs 9% bf

good diet
9-10hour sleep

wanna get bodybuilder style

Would depend on your split and workload. For the most part yes I think 6 days is a bit much since you will limit your recovery. But if you are doing active recovery stuff a couple of days then it might be alright. I have always believed that it's more the quality of work you do than the quantity.

True bro, you have an idea of split routine of 5days, I could hit twice muscle per week except for arms only once would be enough... =)

A quality workout consisting of a moderate amount of reps/sets, but heavy intense weights goes leaps and bounds beyond higher reps and sets and medium intensity.

lots of the guys i see at the gym that don't get bigger or stronger don't lift hard enough. they barely sweat. my face turns red and sweat falls every set i do. and it may only be 8 or 10 reps in 30 seconds, but i pound the shit out of those weights everytime. although i'm not even close to the biggest guy in the gym people have noticed that every day i get bigger and stronger. They ask me what i do. I just tell em i train like a beast and eat like a beast. couldn't be the tbol, lol. but still, with a pussy workout, roids won't help much.

Just give me some specifics:

Overall goal
What you're doing now
Etc..

And I'll see what I can come up with.

your 18 3 days is enough, its all I do and Im like 208lbs and only just 18.

Depends what goals etc your looking for, After looking at AAP's thread it has made me think diferently. hes goin like 20 stes for 1 muslce . Crazy bastard lol, but Im gonna give his routines a go.
