Is Sunscreen On The Eyelids Enough??????

I hate the fucking goggles, so, as an alternate approach, I have been rubbing sun block into my eyelids before tanning.

The logic is this: If the rays cannot penetrate your eyelids, they can't damage your eyesite.

Is my surmise correct????

I would just wear em anyway. I use a bed on occasion to supplement my white ass. I don't know if your bed houses metal halides, but that wavelength really penetrates the skin. I wouldn't go without em, although, i hate "coonage" (looking like a racoon)

I've had an epiphany. Maybe I will develop a line of opaque contacts for use in tanning. Then, even the eyelids could get golden brown...

However, I am not sure the logic is sound because rays could possibly penetrate the eyes without entering via the pupil...

It would be hella cool, though
