is red meat the best protein?

i know that each food varies in the types of amino acids that are found in it. but is red meat the ultimate protein source for bodybuilders?
if yes, why?
 
egg protein (albumin) and milk protein (caesin) have the best amino acid profiles, i.e. the amino acids in the exact proportions your body needs to grow

but i can never be arsed to eat that much of either, especially since both protein forms naturally have nasty saturated fats associated with them (i know, egg whites are less fat but i hate the taste without yolk :D)

so i just go with meat. i dont think there is a significant difference amino acid wise to opt for red meat over white meat, i usually eat more white than red for health reasons
 
i eat about 12 egg whites a day and eat plenty of tuna and chicken, but for some reason (maybe its a mental spacer) i feel that a good 8oz piece of siroloin steak repairs my muscles like no other protien source.

i'm trippin aren't I?
 
maybe, the red meat may have other chemicals in it that do so, but i dont think the amino acid profile is that significantly different

i may be wrong if anyone else has idea;s ? :)

creatine
iron
and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid)
 
Yes, read meat contains "some" CLA, however with the feedings of today of the farm animals, there is really a significant amount of actual CLA in the meat. I just thought it was funny that he said ALA.:p
 
yeah, i think it tastes better than other sources of protein. my personal favorites are juicy pink steaks and dark chicken meat. OOOOOOH!!! I can cook 'em soo good. :p

unfortunately the fatter the meat the taster :(

Mmmmmm....I'm hungry. I love steak, gotta be rare though.
I don't like dark chicken meat but I love steak....tenderloins...mmmm...okay, now I'm really hungry!
 
Wild game meats are the best... Horse, bison etc... high protein low fat...

Then the whole egg comes to mind but who can eat 12 hardboiled eggs in one sitting? Eating one makes me joke.

I forgot all about Venison! There is like 34.3 grams of protein and only3.6g of fat in 4 oz of Venison. Good thinking Mohawk Muscle.
