Canada isn't too worried about pot. They're more focused on marrying gays. Priorities huh?!

As it stands at the moment, you will not be charged for possesion of pot in canada. Because they are working on passing a bill which would see it decriminalized and fines of 100.00 for those under 18 and 150.00 for those of legal age. For possesion of less than 15 grams.
By the time they processed any charges the bill could have been passed.
So there just giving out fines for the time being.

Soon it could be permanent.
