is meat worth it?

Im looking at my food scale and meat and its what 7 grams of protein per ounce as you need 4 ounces of meat to get 28 grams of protein thats allot of meat wouldnt it be better to just eat one big can of tuna fish thats 38 grams and is cheaper?
 
Hmm, something in the way i react to meat. I get full muscles and no hunger. I have tons of energy for workouts. I have not been able to duplicate this with powders. Go Figure.

Really, 4 ounces??? That's not much. Meat is the only way to get proteins with all of the amino acids; vegetable sources have incomplete proteins. And for me, lean red meat is the BEST way to bulk up with lots of muscle! EAT MEAT! (and veggies too!)
 
if 4 oz is a lot, then 5 or 6 must be fucking unbelievably expensive... i wouldn't know though, i don't touch the stuff...
 
Man... I eat a 1/2 pound of beef a day... if I can... get at least an 8 - 10oz slab a cow man... eat that shit up... Get'r in ya... :D I love the stuff... you can do SO much with beef... different sauces, hamburgers etc... or just brown/season a buncha lean ground. Stick it in the fridge, and scoop it out with a cup serving... lasts for a few days...

Well dude...you got to consider your a freak of nature. But yeah I get at least 1/2 lb or 1lb of meat a day.

I eat 1/4 pound at almost every meal, I get 20 1/4# lean patties of sirloin for $13. It is NOT hard to eat 3/4 pound or even 1 pound at each meal 6 times a day for me, and I'm not that heavy yet. Most of my diet is currently red meat, chicken breast, and protein powder, as well as tuna. Personally I am getting SICK of fucking tuna.
 
Theres nothing like lean beef for bulking in my opinion ,I eat about a pound 1/2 for breakfast then a protien drink 1 1/2 later and then start the t-bones then the protien drinks in between throw in some carbs and a little juice and hard training with plenty of sleep and you will grow freaky!!!!:p

5.5lbs/day here........of meat.

After 3 years of 6 cans/day of tuna...I can't even look at tuna
anymore.

I was in the UK at the time of the BSE epidemic and had to Boycott meat. Not by choice though.

I usually buy steak (Ribeye, ny strip, sirloin) 3-5 lbs pack thats on sale at either Safeway/Giant/Price Club each week. Grill it for dinner and wash it down with a protein shake. Or buy 4 lbs of lean groud beef and make burgers from it.

If not, then my gf cooks chicken breast with veggies or i eat a couple cans of tuna fish along with the protein shake. I need to eat red meat at least 3 out of 7 days/wk. Lunch , usually 2 chick fil a sandwiches or ft long subway club.
