Is it the protein, or is it me?

I bought WHEY ISOLATE (not concentrate) from NutraBiotics.
It is 98% protein, less than 1% carbs or fats. No flavor.
Each time I use a scoop, 2-3 hours later I have gas and diarrhea.

I bought WHEY CONCENTRATE (OptimumNutrition) and one scoop yesterday didn't cause any problem. It is 81% protein (2 gm carbs, 1 gm sugar).

I have mild lactose intolerance. I can drink a cup with some discomfort and gas, but no diarrhea.

Is it possible that I can tolerate Whey Concentrate, and not the Whey Isolate (although it has less lactose)? Has this happened to anyone else?
Or is it bunk Whey Isolate that is doing it?

Buy ISO AGB from the AF Store. It has the FDA's highest digestibility rating. Not highest of the proteins, highest of any food. Not only is it lactose free but it's the best Isolate ever made with N-Acetyl-Glutamine added in. It uses BiPro Isolate (if you want to look it up).
Your stuff is very pricey.

u pay for what u get man....in most cases....i havent used any of their stuff but have heard only good things and plan to order some stuff soon

Just go to Walmart and buy some Lactaid pills there located over by the Peptobismal and other stomach medications and take 1 or 2 before you drink your protein and it will solve your gas and diarrhea problem.

It doesn't seem to matter what I drink, I get the gas to some degree. All I drink is whey protein anymore and it still doesn't matter. Some do it more than others, have learned to live with it thses days. I'm also lactose intolerant so I really need to stick with Whey.
