Is it really such a thing as a 100 foot giant squid?

squid could only have 10 feet, dummie. so the answer is no.

I think the blue whale is the largest known creature at over 100 ft. long and weighing several hundred tons.

The giant squid has the largest eye (in diamater) at 9 inches. At least it did when I was up on my stupid animal trivia. They've found dead ones that were pretty big. they dive too deep and are too elusive to be found easily. Ask a sperm whale, I bet he would know.

To sum it up

Giant squid do exist.. there is evidence that they can get up to 100 ft long or bigger, but the largest full specimen found (recorded) is 60 ft
