Definitely possible. Being moderately high shouldnt effect any game-spittin that will occur.
However, I will say that if you are really really high (say you've enjoyed some of the real deal out of a nice glass bubbler, or you've smoked like 6 blunts with a couple friends), it can be hard to think of the very best shit to say in the situation you're in.
