Is it okay to take flax seed oil late at nite before bed?

Totally! Taking in healthy fats before bed is a great idea....slows absorbtion of all remaining nutrients you injest before retiring. Plus ... all the benefits flax oil gives. Go for it bra.:mix:

Sure, why not? Flax seed, primrose oil, borage oil, fish oil, all those are essential fatty acids. You can, and should, drown your body with them. Regardless if you are on a certain diet or not consume these often.

Yep, I do 1tbsp Barleans Flax Oil, cottage cheese, casein, some instant pudding mix blended with milk 1 hr right before bed.

Everything I ever read says it slows the protein digestion to prevent night-time catabolism.

It does the hair and skin good too!
 
why is flax oil essential in building mass? where do they sell it?
what is cassein?
i am trying everything i can to gain weight(almost everything)
 
It is fine to take it before bed, but it DOES store as fat should your daily calories ingested exceed that which you have burned. It is fat just like any ohter fat in the sense that it's 9 calories of energy per gram. It's melecular stucture gives it it's many binnificial and essential uses to the body that makes it superior to other fatty acid molecules, however it can and will be converted to triglycerides and stored in adipose tissue should you consume too many calories relative to your metabolism.
