is it impossible to gain muscle on a high fat no carb diet

ive been training for along time. about7 years. so lets not look at this high fat diet for a beginner but look at it for someone more advanced. do you think its possible for me to put on muscle on a high fat diet? that would mean i would be completly relying upon natural growth hormone. do you think i could put on muscle eating like this 220 grams of protien per day and about 300-400 fat.. could i possibly gain muscle? i weigh about 230. i would think i could put on muscle with so much fat
 
Of course it's not impossible. The human body is incredibly adaptable in terms of the food resources it can get by on. However I seriously doubt it's an optimal method of gaining muscle. Optimal and possible are not the same thing. Anyway, it sounds like you're gonna do the experiment anyway, so just keep us up to date on how it goes.

Just remember that even Eskimos and Masai, etc.... get at least 50% of their overall calories from protein, and ultra high fat diets are not the norm amongst traditional human cultures that eat lots of meat. Most wild and domesticated animals are much lower in fat than the livestock that's raised in America, and the diet you're proposing is very high in fat. Why not just eat lots of leanish meat and see what happens?
 
i guess ill be eating alot of bacon and different sausages tuna with mayo and steaks porkrinds and see what happens. the main thing is i dont wanna feel hungry at all ill just eat as much fat and protien as i feel like and see what happens...............
 
There is no doubt that you "can" gain muscle with only fat and protein. However it will definately not be the most efficient method.
 
I don't know guys... I'm skeptical... IMHO low/no carb diets are probably the best for rapid fat loss, but I personally think it'd be hard to gain muscle without some carbs. I mean, carbs are the most potent trigger for Insulin release... and Insulin (along with Test and GH) is one of the most anabolic hormones we have...
 
It probably would be much harder but it wouldn't necessarily be impossible. Nonetheless I think it's a bad idea. Personally I'd rather train with the most efficient weight gain method knowing that I'll be getting the maximum muscle gain rather than attempting something that we know won't work as well. It's been attempted before and while it may "work" it still won't work as well. The best way to do it would be to attempt a hypercaloric CKD. Attempting to do it sans any carbs is like pissing against the wind. Not getting carbs post workout is wasting a prime time for growth and recovery.

I suspect the reason someone would even attempt such a method would be fear of fat gain. As I said in another post ketosis is not a guarantee against fat gain. If you're in a positive energy balance then ketosis or not you will gain weight. I'd also have to guess that the extra calories will be in the form of fat so they will be stored primarily as fat since no conversion is necessary.
 
Take 50 gram of carbs at breakfast and another 50gram after training and you'll gain all the size you want
 
not for nothing guys.

But im doing a test cyp, deca, dbol cycle and im doing a keto diet (against all logic) and have gained more muscle than i ever have before. My strength is through the roof and im up like 8 clean lbs minor bloat but nothing really bad. i just switched up to a ckd diet this week but ill kepp posted on my results. my stats are 6ft0 242 now when i started i was 230 but have gained noticable muscle and also im taking NYC for the energy and doing 2 weeks on 2 weeks off with clen.

ive never been able to see and feel results as well as i have on a CKD diet. I do feel that without the carb up the results of the diet would be a loss of fat and muscle.
