Is It Hard To Get A Job With A Major Supplement Company???

im a Exercize Science Major still currently in college. i was just wondering if anyone on the board is part of a major company and or knows if it is hard to get hired my one. any info would be greatly appreciated. im not currently looking for a job,(unless there is a summer opportunity, because im only a soph) but im researching possobilities in this field. Thank you

I am not with a major company, but I own a supplement company, and an Exercise Science degree, in itself, would mean about as much to me as a basket weaving degree. The only person I would even consider hiring based on merely having a certain degree would be a chemist.

Luckily, you have a ton of time. Start doing research on medline, prove you actually know something useful -- write articles, find or design some useful supplements and submit them to some of the smaller, more science driven companies (us, Ergo, Molecular, Syntrax, etc.) -- in other words, make a name for yourself, and you will have no problem.

Design useful supplements? Why not start your own company with some financial backing and hire people to do the research for you?
