Is HCG necessary post cycle?

I am almost done a 12 weeker and i will be running the clomid post cycle as well as clen. My question is will HCG be necessary to jumpstart my littleAragorn's or will i be okay with just the clomid?

What was in your cycle?? I like HCG during the last few weeks of my cycles. I wait the time needed for everything to clear and hit the clomid!!

I ran 8 weeks of sust at 375 mgs a week and then finshed with 350 mgs of spectro prop.....ive gained about 27 pounds so far (its my first cycle)....

I know that alot of people like it but IS IT NECESSARY?

For a cycle of 12 weeks it will help but it isn't absolutely needed.

It is best to use H C G at low doses throughout the cycle if cost is not an issue, or mid cycle for two weeks and also during the last two weeks of the cycle. At the very least you should use it during the last two weeks. It makes more sence to prevent testicular shrinkage in the first place with the use of H C G during a cycle than trying to bring them back at the end of a cycle.

Doses need to be low or you are going to desensitize te testes to natural LH.
Doses of 300-500 iu's per day taken either Im or sub Q work very well and desensitization is not an issue at this level.

It would be wise to use Tamoxifen at 20 per day since H C G also increases estrogen levels and if you are sensitive to estrogen then even 500 of H C G can cause gyno. Arimidex and other estrogen inhibitors will not help here since the estrogen is made directly at the testes without the use of an aromatzation enzyme.

What is Tamoxifen? What about Nolva, will it work for lowering the estrogen at the receptor sites?
You said the dose should be about 500 IU per day. You mean inject it every day about 500 IU? I read somewhere that since HCG has such a long half life it is usually taken once in 5 days, with a dose ranging from 1000 to 5000IU's.

No need to get fancy after a first cycle IMO bro. Just hit the clomid and see what happens with your body. It is very individual. You may find you don't need it but you may find it is worth a shot next go around.

It's my understanding that HCG is best when used by people that experience testicular shrinkage. If you don't, it's probably of no benefit to you.

BUMP! I read last two weeks of your cycle 5000IU, 5 days later 3000IU, 5 days later 2000IU, and 5 days later 1000IU?

Dont take HCG for more than 2 weeks in a row. 500ius ED for 2 weeks. Clomid 6 days after last HCG shot
