Is BOS banned?

I went to the other site Triedia, just to check it out. And I was reading the conversation board and he said he got banned. News like this needs to be broadcasted across the entire board, including our brothers on elite fitness en espanol!!!

I knew the guy was a waste (actually it was whitey ford) but never saw those racist threads. SOrry if I missed something. Anyway he didnt pay for his Platinium membership so that must explain why he acted like a dick sometimes.....

I must agree. Romagold and BanMe will be next I'm sure. However, Balls did make me laugh on more than one occassion. He had a unique sense of humor that had potential. The guy could be funny as hell if he ever grows up.

Like I said, no one should be banned for expressing an opinion or what they post. She had the Steel Beast banned. I enjoyed all of his posts and thought he contributed a great deal to this board.

BOS was an internet character created by a 17 year old boy with a vivid imagination and a talent to make people laugh. He thought up the whole fattie thing, which shows some wit on his part. Granted some of his racial slurs were over the top, but again it was all for effect. Why ban him? Perhaps George feels this board should remain in part a fitness board first and formost...and that is his right.

But this constant fear of banning should stop in part.

I have nothing against smalls. I continue to see people claim others promote zero to this board and want them banned. Yet, they do not complain about her. I personally do not give a shit what she posts. However, It is ludicrous to see people complain about quality of the board yet continue to post and post on her thoughtless threads while pushing the quality posts to the bottom. I thought it was ridiculous how she reacted to Steel Beast which ended up in his banning.

He was a core member in my opinion and had some very enlightening and thougt provoking posts.

Like I have always said, none of this internet shit means jack shit. I like to take the opposing side of many things in order to get past the ass kissing of everyone agreeing with each other.

Sigh. I confess that as loathsome and juvenile as his rhetoric often was, he as often made me laugh out loud, even when he was attacking me. I just can't take the hyperbolic rantings of a 17 year old very seriously. In fact, I find it hard to believe he actually believed half of what he was writing. Maybe I've led a sheltered life.

I certainly agree with several people's remarks that there are longtime posters here whose racism, sexism and heterosexism (I'm trying to please Warik by avoiding the homophobia word), are far more virulent and committed than this kid's. I wonder if he hasn't in some ways been sacrificed in their stead.

2. Steel Beast did a lot of bad shit off the board and on to get banned. Talk to smalls and get the whole story. Don't make an arguement based on ignorance.

3. BOS was an immature asshole. So what if he got a laugh or two? Fact is, he attacked everyone who didn't share his ideals. He NEVER contributed ANYTHING other than being angry and hateful. Dballer, this quote here, by BO has one glaring fallacy. Smalls may not contribute much to this board, but she NEVER EVER put anyone down for being a particular way or believing a certain belief. In fact, she hardly has anything nasty to say about anyone unless being attacked (which happens a lot).

Smalls is not a good example here. BOS was banned not because he didn't contribute good stuff. He was banned because he contributed so much negative stuff. He was very nasty. THere's just no need to be so hateful. Even I tried to humor him for a while but it just got worse and worse.

So how about strongchick gets banned? Many of her comments are racially motivated, and sexual preference is ALWAYS an issue. One that she perpetuates. If you're gonna play police man, be a man and don't just arrest those on the other side of the tracks.

It's ok to disagree. My point is, I would accept being banned if I was as shitty as BOS was behaving. But, I've never done anything to the degree that he has. Whether he is a persona or not, it's not necessary and hardly justified.

Ryan isn't solely responsible for the banishment of BOS. I'm sure a lot of people had to get this done. One in particular...George Spellwin.
