Is 1" syringe long enough?

I have a pack of 1" 20 ga. syringes and they seem to be working fine....my buddy told me I needed at least 1-1/2". I am injecting in my ass and I feel like 1" is working fine. My buddy is a "know it all" and I just wanted to get a few more opinions....

He is right to a certain degree, will 1" work? Probably... but for gluets and quads ill like using a 1'1/2 b/c I dont jab the whole thing in I leave like a cm or 2 out. 11/2 just makes sure it get all the way into the deep muscle tissue.

20Gauge.... make sure you have that fucker lubed up well with some oil.... thats like shoving a beer can in your quad... lol j/k it aint that bad Ive used em before.

I like using 23 gauge for everything; It takes more time for oil based steroids to be injected but that helps in reducing scar tissue (Since the fluid flows into the muscle slowly).

It is fine if you're not fat. But damn, that is a big ass gauge. For glutes, a 23g 1 1/2" needle is recommended. I usually hit up delts and nothing else, I use a 25g 1".

personally i love the 25g 1" pin. i also use the 25g 5/8" for bi's, pecs and calves. its slim, slides in easy with next to no discomfort and restricts the flow from too quick. i don't care for glutes, but i'm sure the 1" will be fine if you get it all the way in.

I have 23 ga also but was using them to draw from and then changing pins and screwing on the 1" 20 ga. The 23's are 1-1/2". It sure takes a long time to draw with that. Do I need to change pins when I draw or can I just draw with the 23 and then stick it?

you are drawing with a 23 and shooting with a 20? why???

you should use your 20g to draw with and shoot with the 23s

you dont' have to use a brand new needle everytime you draw, i use my drawing needle quite a few times, just keep it sealed and in the plastic

I draw with a new one everytime... I think its just a mental thing for me. Oh well i have hundreds of em so I dont really care.
