For what its worth: My first cycle of gear cause the same thing. I'm lucky enough to work around 12-lead heart monitors and took a peak. Now while i've had no formal training specifically in reading the 12 lead reports; it looked benign. Occasional PVCs (Extra heart beats) accounted for the 'skipped beat' feelings (its also called heart palpitations).
Seeing that no damage was being done to the elecrical system, I continued the cycle. Toward the end the heart palpitations stopped.
If you become symptomatic with the skipped beats: Weakness, Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness seek medical attention immediatly. Also if you start deveolping chest pain that feels like a pressure that radiates down either arm seem immediate medical attention.
Also be alert for anxiety attacks. I think those are alot more common with gear than reported. I had several minor one that didn't require medication or medical interventions.
Forgive the spelling errors as I just got off shift and don't feel like correcting them.
