Iran is starting the trial today for the 2 American hikers what will happen?

It was reported this morning on CNN , that Iran is starting the trial today for the 2 american hikers that strayed into Iran last year and was captured and charged with spying, Iran is trying them for spying. They are facing up to 10 years in prison and lashings. What do you think the outcome will be from this BS trial? Do you think they will be released like there other friend the girl , who they released in August for humanitarian reasons? Discuss

I didn't realize the girl they released , had to post a 2 million dollar bond? They are now trying her as well and want her to return to Iran to face a trial? Would you go back? Holy SH)(!

Well to accidentally hike into a known Terror state is pretty gnarly I have to say. Now I doubt they were spying but they were obviously riding a fine line if you ask me.

Iran would be STUPID to do anything crazy to these guys, I agree with Superdave on his comment

I'm suspicious as well. But if Iran can't produce some sort of evidence it wasn't an honest mistake, they can't justify holding them.

If they'd been caught with sophisticated surveillance equipment or any other sort of advanced device, I have to believe Iran would have it plastered all over the news shows.
