Are you going to tune in to the season premier of A&E's show 'Intervention' tonight (December 3rd)?

This show is really important to me because I have a few friends who have dealt with drug addictions over the years and this show outlines the addiction process for those of us that don't understand. I think it's really important for those of us not battling with addiction to understand what our loved ones are going through so that we can better help them to get well. What do you think?
Do you have any friends or loved ones dealing with addiction? Even if you don't, this show could prove to be helpful in the future or just educate you more about this really difficult subject.

I did. Very sad story about eating disorders.

That chick looked almost extactly (not the face) as my twin sister. Thats how scary skinny my twin sis got. Sad and scary!

I love this show..Thank god somone has noticed what a problem this has become..it only took me 13yrs to stop the coke, And i don't mean Cola ! Bout time we show some "real TV" instead of the bullshit reality shows that are staged..

I am really glad to see how many people are finding the positive in this show. I had no idea just how much impact this show was having. I am proud and am a true fan and supporter. Please keep sharing your stories... hopefully we can all help as many people as possible.

I just checked out the listing for next week's episode. It's about Dawn, a 49 year old woman who was once a model, but today she's homeless and wanders around town using meth and suffering from the effects of Meth Psychosis. Her sons ask interventionists to help save their loved one. You can check out the trailer @

Sounds like yet again another compelling and life changing episode.

Awesome! What did you think of the episode with Dawn? I thought this was a particularly intense one...(I mean they all are, but you know!)

I'm really excited for Monday's episode: It's a follow-up episode for Ryan, an OxyContin addict, and Hubert, a former alcoholic. It looks like Ryan's having some problems in rehab; this should be interesting! It airs on Monday, Dec. 17 at 9PM ET.

i remember that bro when he was living under the bridge.. the sad thing is how true this is..Shit i owned a paving business and two homes, all brand new trucks/harley/gold...suv for wife.......... Sniffed it all. The show makes me cry like a baby now that i see whats really important.......Living your 1 and only LIFE !
