Internet Explore crashes whenever there's a pop-up

Sup computer dorks. i was wondering you could help me. IE always crashes whenever i goto a site that has a pop-up. like this site for example. when i goto the main page here a pop-up would usually happen (i know this from my old comp) but on my new comp IE will just crash.

I am on a network at USC if that matters. Is there any ways i can adjust my IE options so it doesn't crash all the time (becuase SO many sites have pop-ups).

I had the same problem,its spyware.

I used Spybot and it got rid of it.

ok, cool. so spyware is crashing IE? got a link to spybot?

i d/l'ed spybot, installed and updated. lol, i had 41 "problems." that got that fixed. i'm gonna restart my comp now and see if the EF main page will crash.
